Ice maker sensor error — sensor inside the ice maker reading wrong.
What 14E means.
14E flags a specific ice-maker sensor fault — usually the mold thermistor that tells the board when the cubes are frozen and ready to harvest. With 14E active the controller cannot tell when to run the ejector, so cubes either stay in the mold indefinitely or eject as slush. Related to 8E but more specific to the sensor itself rather than the mechanism.
