Master-Bilt builds out of New Albany, Mississippi, and the lineup runs from walk-in coolers and freezers to refrigerated display cases and ice-cream merchandisers. In Orange County we service the full range: ITM and ITF walk-ins behind restaurant and market kitchens, BSC undercounter units in cafes, and DD-1 and BSD display cases on the customer-facing side of bakeries, gelato shops, and small markets. Display cases see a different duty cycle than back-of-house walk-ins. They are open to ambient air, the customer is leaning in, and the controls have to manage humidity as well as temperature.

Common Master-Bilt issues we see

• Walk-in door closer failures on ITM and ITF units. The closer arm wears, the door stops self-closing on its own, staff prop it open during deliveries, and warm humid air loads the evaporator coil.
• Evaporator-coil ice-up on freezer walk-ins. Door seal leaks introduce moisture, the coil frosts between defrost cycles, airflow chokes, and the box cannot hold setpoint.
• Condensate drain-line clogs on commercial-volume display cases. The drain handles continuous condensate from a humid display, the line clogs with ambient debris, and water pools in the case base.
• Control-board failures on DD-1 and BSD display units. The board manages temperature, humidity, and lighting, and after several years of duty the relay outputs fatigue and one or more zones stop working correctly.
• Compressor wear on MBLG glass-door reach-ins. The compressor sees continuous run-time in a high-traffic merchandiser, amperage climbs, and the unit fails on a Friday afternoon when ambient is highest.
• Light ballast and LED driver failures on display merchandisers. The case runs fine but the visibility is gone, and product on the lower shelves looks dark to customers.

Service expectations for commercial accounts

Restaurants, bakeries, and small markets get same- or next-day priority during 8am to 7pm, seven days a week. We provide a written quote before parts are ordered, because Master-Bilt display-case parts are often spec-line items that take a day or two to source. Parts and labor carry a 3-month warranty, with 6 to 12 months on compressor and sealed-system work. Display-case downtime affects what customers see when they walk in, so we will work with you to schedule the repair around your busiest hours when the parts allow it. Emergency calls outside our 8am-7pm window are by arrangement.
