Common issues we fix.

  • BB-series bar cooler running nonstop, cabinet still warm.

Door gasket flattens out from constant cycling on BB48/BB58/BB72 back-bar coolers; bar-staff door-cycling several times per minute kills the seal faster than expected.

    Typical time
    45–90 min
    Typical cost
    $250–$450+
  • Cabinet drifts warm, condenser fan dust-caked and seized.

Condenser-fan motor failure from bar mat residue and lint accumulation; bearing seizes and heat stops shedding on BB-series back-bar units.

    Typical time
    60–90 min
    Typical cost
    $300–$525+
  • MS prep table cold rail can't hold during the lunch rush.

Cold-rail temperature drift on MS marketeer prep tables — open-lid duty cycle during service overwhelms the evaporator and pulls the food-safety log out of range.

    Typical time
    60–120 min
    Typical cost
    $300–$550+
  • Draft-beer line stops flowing on integrated cooler.

Dispenser-solenoid fault on draft-integrated Beverage-Air; the actual fault often sits upstream at the controller or wiring, not the solenoid itself.

    Typical time
    60–90 min
    Typical cost
    $250–$500+

More about Beverage-Air repair.

Beverage-Air lives in bars and cafes. The wear pattern reflects that.

Beverage-Air is the chassis we see most often behind the bar in Orange County, in cafes pouring beer and wine, and in pizza and sandwich shops running prep tables through a full lunch and dinner shift. The BB-series bottle coolers and back-bar refrigeration get hammered by door-cycling, and the MS prep tables hold cold-rail temperatures while the lid is open for most of the shift. Both of those duty cycles drive specific failure modes that show up before the chassis itself is anywhere near end-of-life.

Common Beverage-Air issues we see

  • Door gasket wear from constant cycling. Bar staff open a BB cooler door several times per minute during a busy night, the gasket flattens out faster than the cabinet expects, and the compressor runs nearly continuously to compensate.
  • Condenser-fan motor failures. The fan accumulates dust, lint, and bar mat residue, the bearing seizes, heat is not shedding, and the cabinet drifts warm.
  • Evaporator-fan motor wear on glass-door MM units. No air movement across the cold coil, the lower shelves get warm, and the upper shelves freeze bottles.
  • Dispenser-solenoid faults on draft-beer integrated coolers. The line stops flowing, the solenoid is blamed first, but the actual fault is often upstream at the controller or wiring.
  • Cold-rail temperature drift on MS prep tables. The lid stays open during service, the rail cannot hold setpoint, and the food-safety log starts showing temperatures out of range.
  • Light ballast and LED driver failures on glass-door merchandisers. The cabinet runs fine but the merchandising visibility is gone, and customers cannot see what is in the cooler.

Models we service most often

BB-series back-bar bottle coolers (BB48, BB58, BB72, BB94). MM glass-door merchandisers. MS marketeer prep tables (sandwich and pizza). UCR and UCF undercounter refrigeration and freezers. SPED and SPE sandwich prep tables. WTR worktop refrigerators.

Service expectations for commercial accounts

Bars, cafes, and pizza shops get same- or next-day priority during 8am to 7pm, seven days a week. We provide a written quote before parts are ordered, because back-of-bar repairs often need to be scheduled around service hours. Parts and labor carry a 3-month warranty, with 6 to 12 months on compressor and sealed-system work. Bar refrigeration sees more door-cycling than almost any other commercial application, and we will flag gasket and fan-motor wear during the diagnostic so you can plan ahead. Emergency calls outside our 8am-7pm window are by arrangement.

We are an independent Beverage-Air repair shop

We are not factory-authorized and not affiliated with Standex International. We service Beverage-Air because we have invested in the parts inventory, the diagnostic tools, and the years of repair history.

What your neighbors said this month.

  • I couldn't recommend this company more highly. I have used them several times and found Ivan to be knowledgeable, responsive, honest and courteous. He has saved me from buying a new refrigerator twice and unlike so many vendors, he is always able to diagnose the problem quickly and always knows how to fix it. If you want someone reliable who truly knows his craft and is always fair and reasonable, call We Fix Fridges!

  • We have used this company several times now. I wanted to leave a review because Ivan really went above and beyond for this last repair the day before a big holiday weekend. He saved us! 100% recommend him. Besides being so knowledgeable which helps with diagnosis to repairs he is courteous and timely and we have found his prices to be very fair. It's hard to find a trustworthy reliable repair person. We have Ivan on text now!

  • Highly recommended. Been in business with Ivan 3 different times with different appliances and all were satisfactory with problem fixed. He even figured out an indirect minor issue and fixed it for us with no charge without us asking for it. Ivan will be the first one I call in any cases of an appliance that needs repair.
