Refrigerator fan motor fault — fresh-food side fan has stopped.
What Er rF means.
Er rF flags a fault with the refrigerator-side fan motor. This fan moves cold air from the evaporator into the fresh-food compartment through the damper. When it stops the freezer keeps cooling but the fresh-food side warms because no airflow reaches it. Symptom is classic "fridge warm, freezer cold." Like Er FF, the most common cause is frost locking the fan blade rather than a true motor failure.
