Freezer compartment air sensor fault — freezer cannot be temperature-managed.
What F3 means.
F3 indicates the freezer-compartment air sensor has failed. The controller cannot manage freezer temperature accurately, so freezer cycling falls back to a fixed schedule. Ice cream texture and frozen-food quality drop noticeably, but the unit usually still cools. F3 is the freezer twin of F1.
